Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College basketball team spent one of their day's off doing community service for Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County. The team and coaches went out in the cold to help build a house.
The home will be used for a needy family to live in from the Forsyth County area. The team performed the following work: scaffolding, measuring and cutting strips of plywood, building wall foundations, placing windows in to the frames, and insulating the home.
Salem returns to the court on December 3rd when they host Maryville at 5:30.
